RESOLVED: DDoS against Standard DNS NameserversOriginally posted on: 2011-11-07 15:37 UTC Last modified on: 2011-11-08 1:36 UTC
Beginning at 1520 UTC, we are experiencing a DDoS against the Standard DNS nameservers. Customers may be seeing overall decreased performance during this time. During this time, zones who update via DNS transfers (AXFR) will not be up to date.
As of 1700 UTC, some Dyn Standard DNS nameservers are back online. Dyn Operations staff continue to work to restore full connectivity to all Dyn Standard DNS nameservers.
Update 1745 UTC: Connectivity to ns1/ns2/ns3/ns4.mydyndns.org has been restored.
Update 1815 UTC: Connectivity to all Dyn Standard DNS servers has been restored.
A full post mortem of this event has been posted to our blog on our website, http://dyn.com.
