Dyn Email Delivery SMTP and API services experienced a brief period of instability due to a network switch issue, starting at approximately 17:41 UTC on April 8, 2021. Load balancers automatically redirected traffic away from the affected infrastructure and the service continued to run as normal while the degraded network switch was replaced. While this corrective maintenance was in progress, mail may have been queued for a short time before being delivered. This issue was resolved by 20:44 UTC on April 8, 2021 when the switch replacement was completed.
