Bandwidth Provider Maintenance in Singapore

On 7th August between 18:00 UTC and 20:00 UTC, one of our upstream transit providers will be performing maintenance on their infrastructure in Singapore. No impact to DynECT Managed DNS Nameserver or Peripheral Infrastructure is expected, although some users may experience additional DNS query latency as traffic is routed to other paths. We do not recommend that customers make any configuration changes in preparation for this maintenance.

[Resolved] Dyn Email Delivery encoding issues

As of 09:00 UTC on Thursday August 21st, some customers began seeing issues in email headers and with link tracking encoding when using the Dyn Email Delivery service. This is causing some invalid headers and where link tracking is enabled, some invalid links. Our engineers are investigating the issue and we will post updates as they become available. Customers with questions are encouraged to reach out to our Technical Support Team.

UPDATE: Engineers have identified the cause of this issue and are in the process of implementing corrective actions.  We expect functionality to return to normal operating conditions within the hour.

[Resolved] Dyn Managed DNS API Service Degradation

As of 12:00 UTC on Aug 20th, some customers may have begun experiencing delays when interacting with the DynECT DNS API. Our engineers are investigating the issue and we will post updates as they become available. Customers are not encouraged to make any changes at this time. Customers with questions are encouraged to reach out to  our Technical Support Team.

UPDATE: as of 17:00 engineers have resolved the issue and restored the API to normal operating conditions.

On August 15th, 2014 at 18:45 UTC, we began investigating an issue with the Dyn Managed DNS portal that may have caused some customers to receive a 503 HTTP error while browsing. The issue was resolved as of 18:52 UTC and the Dyn Managed DNS portal resumed functioning normally. Customers are not encouraged to make any changes at this time.

[Resolved] Trouble logging into DynECT portal

Since the release of our new DynECT portal, we have received sporadic reports of customers entering a redirect loop while attempting to log in. While our engineers are working to resolve this issue, customers experiencing log in trouble are encouraged to clear their browser cache and attempt logging in again. If problems persist, please reach out to our Technical Service Team.

Update: The latest portal release has addressed this issue. Customers should not longer encounter redirect loops while logging into the portal.

Dyn Email Delivery Scheduled Maintenance

Dyn Email Delivery will undergo system maintenance between 09:00 UTC and 10:00 UTC on Tuesday, August 12, 2014. Sending infrastructure (SMTP and REST API) will function as normal throughout this time. Only website and non-sending REST API functionality will be interrupted for a short time. An updated status will be posted here once the maintenance is complete.
