SSLv3 POODLE Vulnerability (CVE-2014-3566)

On 10/14 Dyn was made aware of CVE-2014-3566, an exploit of SSL3.  We are currently reviewing systems that may be impacted by this exploit and are systematically addressing these systems as required.

On , December 13, 2014  between 5:30 UTC and 1:30 UTC on December 14, one of our upstream transit providers will be performing maintenance on their infrastructure in Sao Paulo, Brazil. No impact to DynECT Managed DNS Nameserver or Peripheral Infrastructure is expected, although some users may experience additional DNS query latency as traffic is routed to other paths. Dyn Email Scheduled Maintenance

Dyn Email Delivery will undergo system maintenance between 10:00 UTC and 11:00 UTC on Tuesday, November 25, 2014. Sending infrastructure (SMTP and REST API) will function as normal throughout this time. Only website and non-sending REST API functionality may be interrupted for a very short time. An updated status will be posted here once the maintenance is complete.

Starting around 14:50 UTC today, November 20th, we became aware of a vendor issue with our support ticketing system. Currently, inbound and outbound support emails may take several hours to reach their destination. We apologize for this inconvenience and we will post updates as they become available.

[Resolved] Dyn Email Delivery Sending Delays

Beginning around 02:00 UTC on November 19th 2014, some users may have experienced intermittent connection errors or increased latency when sending through the Dyn Email API and SMTP services. Customers with questions are encouraged to reach out to our Technical Support Team.

[Resolved] DynDNS Remote Access hostname DNS resolution

Customers using the Dyn Remote Access service that have created hostnames with certain domains may be experiencing issues with DNS resolution and activation. We’re currently working on compiling a list a list of affected domains. As we continue to investigate updates and affected domains will be posted as they become available.
