Our engineers have confirmed that this incident also affected Managed DNS primary zone propagation resulting in degraded performance.

This incident has now been resolved and normal service was restored at 12:37UTC.

Investigating

On August 11th 2017, beginning around 11:10 UTC, Dyn engineers began investigating issues with Managed DNS Secondary Zone transfer servers. Users of the service may experience delayed transfers and elevated zone propagation times.

No impact to Dyn Managed DNS Nameservers or other peripheral infrastructure is expected. Updates will continue to be posted as information becomes available.
