Identified - On February 16th, 2016, Dyn was made aware of CVE-2015-7547, a glibc getaddrinfo stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability affecting certain systems. Our security team is currently reviewing systems that may be impacted by this exploit and are systematically addressing these systems as required. Scheduled - On September 17th, 2016, between 15:00 UTC and 18:00 UTC, one of our upstream transit providers will be performing maintenance on their infrastructure in Tokyo, JP. No impact to Dyn Managed DNS Nameserver or peripheral infrastructure is expected, although some users may experience additional DNS query latency as traffic is routed to other paths. We do not recommend that customers make any configuration changes in preparation for this maintenance.
