Investigating - On October 13th, 2019, beginning around 10:30 UTC, our engineers began investigating an issue with degradation in Tokyo, Japan. Customers may notice temporary errors to existing sessions until traffic is routed to other paths. Additionally, customers may observe increased latency as traffic is routed to other paths for the duration of the maintenance.

From 00:00 UTC on October 21st, 2019 to 00:00 UTC on October 23st, 2019, our engineering team will be performing a termination process of the old AWS infrastructure, including AWS dedicated IPs for APEX domains.

To prevent traffic degradation all customers that are using AWS IPs should replace them with - 205.147.88.100.

Please be advised this notification applies only to customers that have their traffic routed through the AWS infrastructure.

On Thursday, October 21st, 2019, between 18:00 and 19:00 UTC, we will be releasing version 5.2.56 of our Dyn Managed DNS platform to production.

Changes included in this release:

Investigating - Starting November 1st, 2019, our engineering team will be converting Cloud Security Customer Production CNAMEs to point to the expanded OCI WAF infrastructure as the CNAME target for Production web application firewall services. For a successful transition, customers are required to whitelist OCI WAF infrastructure subnets by October 31st as referenced from within the Dojo Web Interface for all web application firewall services. New OCI WAF Subnets could be found in your Dojo Administration tab – “Info and Support” tab (expanded) –“EDGE Nodes IPs”. Web applications that will not whitelist the OCI WAF subnets and that are using explicit IP whitelist on their origin Firewall - will experience traffic impact. We will continue to notify you as any further relevant infrastructure changes take place.
