Monitoring - On November 19th, 2017, beginning at 21:01 customers using our China Network may be experiencing issues with latency and packet loss on Dynect China Network nameservers ns1 and ns2. Our engineers are working on a resolution and will post updates as they become available. There is no impact outside of China and no impact to Dyn Managed DNS Nameservers or peripheral infrastructure is expected.

Investigating - Starting around 21:01 UTC on November 19th, 2017 we began monitoring and mitigating a DDoS attack against our Dyn Managed DNS for Hosting infrastructure. Some Managed DNS for Hosting customers may experience increased DNS query latency and delayed zone propagation during this time. Some Managed DNS customers may experience increased query resolution. Updates will be posted as information becomes available.
