Investigating - On April 27th, 2017, starting at 19:00 UTC, our engineers began investigating an issue with Traffic Director Monitoring in the Managed DNS platform. Customers may experience possible delays when creating new monitors in their Traffic Director services. Our engineers are working on correcting the issue at this time. DNS Resolution is not affected by this issue.

Identified - Our engineers are continuing to investigate the issue. Sent counts between April 20th, 2017 and April 24th, 2017 are being added back at this time and should be available by April 27th, 2017. Further updates will be made at that time.

Investigating - Our engineers have identified an issue with Sent reports showing 0 sent since April 21st, 2017. This issue only affects reporting. Mail sending is unaffected by this issue. Our engineers are working to resolve this issue.

Monitoring - Our engineers have identified the cause of report counts showing inaccurate results as a result of delayed bounces offsetting the count of email delivered on the day of the bounce, rather than the day the original message was sent. Our engineers have confirmed that the sending of mail and the processing of the bounces themselves remain within normal parameters.

Our engineers are continuing to monitor the situation.

Investigating - Beginning around 15:00 UTC on April 22nd, 2017, some customers may have begun to experience issues with report counts showing inaccurate results. Some customers may also have begun to experience issues with exporting files coming back empty. Our engineers are aware and are working to resolve this issue.

Mail sending is not impacted by this event.

Identified - On Tuesday May 2nd, 2017, Dyn will be updating its Managed DNS API to include rate limiting for any requests that exceed five requests per second or three hundred requests over sixty seconds in an effort to improve overall performance. Customers who exceed this threshold will be returned with a “429 - Too Many Requests” error for a period of one minute while the rate limiting is in place. Customers who receive this error should wait one minute and retry using their existing session/token. On Monday, May 01, 2017, beginning around 08:00 UTC, we will be performing maintenance on our Internet Intelligence infrastructure, which includes II, II-Network and II-Transit. During this maintenance we expect minimal downtime but it may affect the ability to access the API, log in to the web portal and view portfolio metrics.
